Noticed my girl doing some tumbles and "cartwheels" actions these days ever since she began school. I still remember the days that she used to bounce around in her walker... now she's progressing to "gymnastics" on her own! Makes me a proud daddy...
Colleague advised me to explore sending my girl for some gym sessions to see if they are useful for her. The usual benefits of gym: fine motor skills, coordination, balance, agility etc. The most important to me why I am sending my girl to gym is: confidence building.
Sometimes it takes more than a good healthy body to clear a monkey bar (as Singaporean guys who served National Service can attest to..) Some things just require that "confidence" to tell yourself that you can do it! With that mental confidence, there are a lot more one can achieve. The best way to achieve that in my opinion is through sports and exercise.
What's good? I'm thinking of sending her to JWT Kids Gym... but it's not that close to my place. I heard pretty good reviews on Alpha Gym Asia near my place at Big Splash. Are they any good? Please give me your recommendations dear readers...
